Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed on Dec. 28, 2008 by IKERONIOUS
I took the advice of another reviewer and used 1/4c brown sugar and 1/2c honey because I had no maple syrup. I didn't have to add any milk, it was already liquidy enough. It turned out well and was really easy with the mixer doing the mashing. Turned out a bit sweet, I'd say you only really need 1/2 that amount of maple syrup, but it was very tasty.

Easy to make and quite tasty. This is the way to have asparagus! Went over well at Christmas dinner.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed on Dec. 25, 2008 by IKERONIOUS
Super easy to make! I made these for my brother for a Christmas party he was going to. I used the advice of some other reviewers and used fresh OJ instead of water. I also threw in some orange zest. It really added a nice touch. I also drizzled them with some glaze, like I saw in some of the photos. They smelled delicious and must have went over well because none came back home!
