Excellent recipe to have when you don't have much time to make dinner! This is so easy and so yummy that it's a favorite in our house.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
Very good. I followed the recipe exactly for the sauce and then adjusted to my taste, ultimately adding more of everything except the sugar. I also used fresh garlic in the adjustment. It came out very nice, though a bit dry for me - perhaps I'll shorten the cooking time next time. My family of four ate almost the entire roast, and hubby took the leftovers with him to work. I'll definitely make again, but I'll double the onions as they were wonderful(!).

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
I added an extra egg, used fresh salsa instead of sauteeing onions (to make it easier and add a little extra flavor), and only used 1 cup of cheese. I did it in muffin tins as other reviews mentioned, they turned out perfect. I now have a whole week's worth of breakfast ready! Thanks!

Ham 'n' Noodle Hot Dish

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This went over very well with my family (2 kids and a hubby). Minor changes I made: used shredded sharp cheddar instead of processed cheese, drizzled the remaining butter over the bread crumb/parsley mix instead of mixing the butter in with it, and used canned peas instead of frozen. Also, the type of "medium noodles" wasn't specified in the recipe, so I used medium egg noodles. I didn't add extra fluid as others suggested, and it came out just hot-dishy enough. Almost all of it got eaten at dinner, and my hubby took the rest to work with him the next day. Definitely a good "simple" way to use left-over Holiday ham.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This apple crisp is awesome. The first time I made it, it was a hit. I have had constant requests for it ever since. My housemates have actually banned me from making sweets because they eat everything up in one sitting. Hey its not my fault, I blame all recipes lol :) Thanks for the recipe!

Restaurant-Style Potato Skins

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
These are always a crowd pleaser. No matter who I serve them to they are always well liked. I think I make them better than the restaurant... Serious... fresh/homemade are always better than a restaurant! Thanks for the recipe:)

Absolutely Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
These Brownies are awesome. They are very easy and they taste amazing. I have made quite a few batches and they always turn out well. I have made some adaptations as well, one very nice with peanut butter. I melted the peanut butter and made a marble design on the top and it was a nice compliment.

Banana Butter Icing

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
This icing was great. The first time I made it, I only had 1 banana which whats less than what the recipe called for. However, it was a great icing because it was very mousse like. It spread nicely and was VERY tastey. I sold the cake at a bazaar and I havent stopped hearing rave reviews about it. THANKS!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Really good. I mixed half italian sausage in with half of the called for amount of hamburger. Yum! Was told that my version was better than the little 3rd generation Italian restaurant we frequent in St. Paul.

Bunjal Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I cooked it with two cut up chicken breasts on the stove and added double sauce. It was very good with brown rice, the roommate also enjoyed it.

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Mine turned out bad as well. Flat tops. Burned outsides. Undercooked insides. Ugh. Sadly, I'm out of bananas now and just dying for a muffin.

Easy Apple Crisp

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I use canned apple pie filling for this and also add two packs of instant cinnamon oatmeal on top for added crispness. It's a good, easy dessert to whip up. Warning though - it is VERY sweet.

I have not made this cake, but I have made the caramel sauce many, many times. I just wanted to rate the sauce, it is very versatile and easy to whip up last minute!
