Coffee Liqueur

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Made to go in Christmas gift baskets. Not much of a drinker myself but did try some before giving away and it seemed very good!

Shrimp Kisses

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
My husband said these were the best things he's ever eaten! Made for New Year's Eve. Followed suggestions from reviewers--Precooked bacon, froze cheese pieces, broiled 5-7 minutes. My shrimp was labeled Med/Larg. I think truly Large shrimp would work easier, I had to cut my cheese pieces in half to get them to fit. Oh, and I used marbled colby/jack cheese

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Delicious! Used frozen mini meatballs and a package of cocktail hot dogs. Needed to add a bit more of the sauce ingredients since I had so much meat. But YUMMY! Served for New Year's Eve--10 people devoured them in a couple hours.

Baked Whole Cauliflower

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Tastes great and very nice presentation, but not worth the effort for me. Tastes just like when I steam smaller pieces of cauliflower and top it with breadcrumbs mixed with a little melted butter

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Addictive is the right word for these! Used chocolate cake and chocolate frosting. Wore plastic gloves and used my hands to mix warm cake with frosting to get things mixed real well. Didn't need chilling, just used small cookie scoop to shape balls. Froze balls before dipping---shouldn't have, it made the chocolate set too quickly when dipping. Will just chill at this point next time. Also, used alot more dipping chocolate than called for. Made 47 balls and used a 12 oz bag of white candy coating and a 15 oz bag of milk chocolate disks so I ended up with white and brown treats.

Hot and Spicy Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
OK. Maybe a bit too greasy, coating didn't stick real well. baked at 250 and checked every 7-8 minutes so they didn't burn. added a teaspoon of hot sauce and omitted salt since the nuts were salted. used mixed nuts

Garlic Bread Mama Rita's Way!

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
Great flavor!! I used sub rolls and only made a couple the first time and saved the rest of spread in fridge for another time. Baked at 400 instead of broiling for about 5 minutes.

Ok. Maybe I'm just not crazy about poultry seasoning. It was very easy though.

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Just ok. It was very juicy. My 3 year old wanted to seasoning cut off but my 1 year old loved it! I used regular chilipowder and only 1/2 as much based on other reviews.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
my husband is never happy with the dried out texture of crock pot chicken so I decided to try boneless skinless thighs instead of breasts and he said it was the BEST crockpot meal he'd ever had. I also cut the cream cheese and italian dressing mix in half and added 1/4 cup milk with the soup. Yummy and easy

Cube Steak Parmesan

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
Husband liked better than me--he said it was a definte keeper! But I did think it was good. May try italian breadcrumbs instead of saltines next time. Needed more saltines. Like sauce flavor, if want enough to serve over noodles, double it.
