About me:
I am a young, married professional and mother of two. I absolutely love to cook and I am always trying new things, whether they are my own creations or things I find online or in recipe books. My only problem is a serious lack of time! I like to cook a wide variety of good, healthy (or at least reasonably so), and inexpensive meals that please everyone from my meat and potatoes husband, to my eats-like-a-bird daughter, to my littlest one who's just starting to enjoy solid food.

Amish White Bread

Reviewed on Dec. 20, 2008 by winsome08
I first made this recipe just to see how it tastes, boy did I get the best and easiest recipe. I ate the first loaf in about an hour and had to use great restraint for the other loaf, Now it is a family favorite. VERY, VERY, TASTY. An alternate variation that we did was to cut half a cup of sugar and add one cup of raisons.

Chili Rick's

I did not care for this. I halved the recipe, but other than that, I followed the recipe EXACTLY. It turned out very watery. Do yourself a favor, and don't make this recpie. Skip over it for another!!

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Reviewed on Dec. 6, 2008 by SKALCK
Like many others, I was very surprised that this cooked up the way it did. Perfect medium rare and juicy. My only negative would be that it did not "tenderize" this eye-of-round to my satisfaction. I wonder how this would work (the high temp method) for a standing rib or tenderloin? Would I use this again, maybe not with the same cut of beef, but the concept of cooking is wonderful.
