I'm a good Southern girl who discovered that food was more than traditional Southern and chain restaurants when I went to college. My love for food only expanded while studying abroad in Northern Spain, where I got explore Mediterranean cooking and French pastries. I helped make ends meet while in school working as a cafeteria lady, caterer, prep and line cook. Now I spend my free time cooking and experimenting and am debating going to culinary school to become a pastry chef.

Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce

I marinated the pork for only an hour and it turned out good. The mustard sauce was ok. A little too much mustard powder for my taste. I olny used half the required amount and it was still a little much. Over all, I enjoyed thid dish, but it's not something I would make again.

Stephen's Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are delicious. I followed the recipe except I left out white chocolate chips and only used pecans (just doubled them) because I didn't have the other nuts or white chips.
