About me:
I am a professional, young woman that enjoys cooking wonderful tasting, HEALTHY food. Healthy absolutely should equal delicious ! I was in the restaurant industry at a corporate level for 10 years for a multi-award winning restaurant group in Washington, DC. I learned alot during this time - from how to deal with a re-cook, what a medium prime rib should look like, how to present food with flair, using spices rather than fat for flavor, etc.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed on Dec. 30, 2008 by RINGONIAN
This was very delicious. I am normally not into the lean meats but the glaze definitely definitely made the meal. As per many suggestions, I used the garlic (4 cloves) and the 2 tbsp's of brown sugar to add to the reduction. The sauce came out really sweet but that was my fault for using port wine.

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Reviewed on Dec. 10, 2008 by Jacquita
I really wanted to love this recipe, but it was just okay for me. I ended up mixing the chocolate chip mixture into the "top" layer and just kind of pressed it on top of the dough. I made it in a slightly smaller pan, so I had to bake it for about 10-15 minutes more than called for. It was a bit dry and just didn't wow me, but I think with some minor changes or additions, it could be a very good recipe.

Pepperoni Bread

Reviewed on Nov. 19, 2008 by sher
This was easy and good. I added more pepperoni and cheese. I also used olive oil instead of butter. Definitely easy and yummy. A keeper!
