About me:
I'm married to a wonderful woman named Deb. We have a son and daughter, both still in diapers. Needless to say, we're very, very busy. Our lifestyle, like a lot of people's, necessitates a menu that's simple, quick and easy. I'm also very focused on ensuring that my family is nourished by healthy and natural foods for the most part. Additionally, I write a Christian based health & fitness newsletter, which you can check out at www.HealthandFitnessEdge.com

Banana Pudding I

Reviewed on Nov. 10, 2008 by grampnana
Cut this down to "6" servings, but still used 2 yolks instead of one egg. Used crushed animal crackers and layered with 2 bananas before pouring on the custard. After cooling, topped it off with fresh whipped cream. Yummmmm

Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed on Nov. 10, 2008 by grampnana
This was delish! The pork, potatoes and onions all have a great flavor done this way. I only used one bouillon cube, as I think mine (Knorr) are double strength. Did not use salt, as there is plenty in the bouillon. Used bone-in chops and next time will cook a little longer, as they were not quite as tender as hubby likes - but they make up for it in flavor and ease! Thanks for sharing.

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed on Nov. 10, 2008 by grampnana
Used stone ground whole grain flour for the whole wheat and did not cut up the oatmeal and used walnut oil for vegetable oil. Only did 1/3 of the recipe and cooked one loaf and have another in the freezer for later. This makes a pretty light loaf. Thanks for sharing.
