This is such a nice change. My kids loved it and they don't do soup. I put black beans in instead and used crushed tomatoes instead of chunks. I used two packages of taco seasoning. Served with a cheddar cheese bread and tortilla chips. It's a keeper!!

I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and added some cumin to the seasonings. Excellent; and very filling. The crushed tortilla chips. grated cheese, and sour cream add to the flavor and texture.

This was real good. It reminds me of chili with a great kick. I used other reviewers advice and browned the meat with the taco seasoning as well. Will surely make again.

We loved this with ground turkey instead of ground beef. We reduced the water to one diced tomato can full and used frozen corn (no liquid). It was more like taco chili - very yummy with cheese on top.

This is a great recipe, tho I added 1 t. cumin, 2 large garlic cloves and added 1 bottle Corona instead of the water and some chopped jalapeno to taste. The beer really give it a great and different flavor. Family loved it ! and soooo easy.

My husband and I both love to cook, so it is hard to impress each other since everything turns out good. This did it for me! I usually serve with Zucchini quesadillas (which work well, by the way, even for my veggie haters. Everything tastes better if it has enough cheese on it!)

It was pretty good. Not enough flavor for me. Not sure what was missing.

This is a very easy and good recipe. I like mine a little on the HOT side, so I used a bit more chillies than called for, but it still was excellant.

This isn't bad, but I thought the soup itself was a little bland. I even added half of an extra packet of taco seasoning near the end, along with some cumin and chili powder while cooking the meat, but it seemed like it was missing a little something. However, once you added the corn chips, shredded cheese and sour cream, the end result was pretty tasty. To me though, it seemed more like chili than a taco.

Really good. I didn't stray too far from the original. Great recipe, goes really good with some tortilla chips.

Hate to be the downer on this recipe, but didn't care for all the taco seasoning(it talked back to me!). Maybe use half the envelope? We still prefer the skinny tortilla soup from Light N Tasty.

My husband was craving his grandmothers taco soup so I tried to find one as close to her recipe as I could remember. The only difference was I added ranch beans in place of the kidney and chili beans, and added a packet of ranch dressing. Was great comfort food for a chilly fall evening, and made great leftovers.

My family loved this recipe. Super Simple. One simple change, added 2 pkgs. Taco seasoning instead of 1. The spicier the better!
