I made this recipe twice. First time was to the "T". It came out very tasty but a little on the salty side. Second time, I reduced the amount of soy sauce to half and use low sodium to boot. I also added a squirt of fresh lemon juice. Since it's the season for indoor grilling, I made these on my George Foreman G5 grill. Dinner was done in a super flash and I didn't have to worry about soaking the skewers to prevent burning. Definitely skewer the chicken and veggies separately. Only marinated chicken for 15 minutes and it still came out tasty. Thanks again for this recipe!

Honestly, delicious. Be sure to add the marinade to both the chicken and the veggies.

There were delicious! A perfect recipe... I was a little skeptical of the marinade but it was sooo good! I followed some reviewers suggestions and added pineapple on my kabobs. I don't have a grill so I broiled it in my oven and it was still delicious. Next time I'll use a grill and I bet it will be even more so! :)

Yummy!!! Very good, easy recipe!! I made it once the way shown, then the second time I had a craving for it at 5pm so I just fried the chicken quick and let it simmer in the sauce a few minutes - still yummy!! Thanks!!

Soooo Good!!!and easy!! I doubled the marinade and let is sit all day. We used chicken thighs, sweet peppers, onions, and pineapple (didn't marinate the pineapple) also I put carrots in the marinate but not on the skewers. We had left over everything and the next day we made a stir fry and then I used the carrots. It was so good!!!!

I made these for a party and they were easily the most popular food item on the table. Very good!

Always comes out great. Sometimes I add ginger or a little bit of orange juice for a change, but it's not needed. When it's too cold to go out I bake these on a broiler pan.

PERFECT! These have become a Sunday staple in my house!! We just can't seem to get enough. Also, if you're in a pinch, Lawry's has a 15 minute Hawaiian marinade (leave for a least an hour though) that tastes very similar.

This didn't turn out so well for me. I followed the marinade to a T, but decided to make it into a stir fry instead of kabobs. The marinade just tasted like vegetable oil with a hint of honey.

EXCELLENT recipe. I followed the recipe almost exactly except I doubled the marinade, like a lot of reviewers suggested. I separated the veggies and chicken on a few of the skewers, then alternated chicken, bell pepper, onion on the rest. Both combinations cooked very evenly, and this meal was amazing over fresh white rice. The next time I do it I will try adding a little more honey to thicken the sauce (esp for basting while grilling) as it is very thin when following the recipe. I also want to try using boneless skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts and see how much more tender that will be.

Taste just like teriyaki chicken, with a sweet honey glaze! I will definitely be using this marinade when I make teriyaki chicken! I served it with rice and steamed Vegetables.

Absolutely delicious marinade! I did not grill these but instead I used chicken tenders, cut them into bite sized pieces and marinated the meat with some green peppers and onions. I doubled the mixture and let it sit in the fridge for two hours or so. I ended up just stir-frying this; you definitely want to double the marinade if are cooking this on the stove but I added the extra sauce at the end so the chicken got nice and golden brown. Chicken was super tender! Served this over rice and it was delectable. I've only found this recipe two weeks ago and I've already made it four times!
